Friends from intermediate:

While Krishna is pursuing engineering at Aurora Engineering college in Hyderabad, Naveen was a final-year engineering student at the University College of Engineering, Mahatma Gandhi University, Nalgonda. They both were class 12 batchmates at a private junior college in Dilshuknagar. The duo was in love with Niharika. After the breakup with Naveen, the girl got closer to Harihara Krishna. However, Naveen was attempting to reach out to the girl, which made Krishna jealous.

The case:

On February 17, P Hari Hara Krishna offered N Naveena a ride on his motorcycle. When they reached the Abdullapurmet area, the accused took Naveen to the bushy area near Rama Devi Public School with the intention to eliminate him. The discussion about Naveen's girlfriend issue turned into an altercation which resulted in the murder. Hari Hara Krishna strangled Naveen to death. He later chopped off his body parts with a knife.

Supported by his friend:

On the same night, the accused went to the house of his friend Hassain at Brahmanapally. He informed him of the matter and sought his help in disposing of the chopped body parts. Both of them went to the outskirts of Manneguda and threw away the bag containing body parts.

Involvement of Niharika:
