Hyderabad: Ovoid Pharmachem booked for forging drug licence; stocks worth Rs. 23.93L seized
A police case has been registered against Narasapally Ramudu, Director of Ovoid Pharmachem Pvt. Ltd., for cheating and Forgery

The DCA has formally filed a complaint at Jeedimetla Police Station.
Director Under Scrutiny:
A police case has been registered against Narasapally Ramudu, Director of Ovoid Pharmachem Pvt. Ltd., for cheating and Forgery.
The FIR outlines allegations against Ramudu for forging a fake drug license about unauthorized drug products.
Fraudulent Activities Exposed:
An investigation conducted by DCA revealed that Ovoid Pharmachem Pvt. Ltd allegedly created a fake drug manufacturing license. This license included drug products not authorized by the Drugs Control Administration, Telangana.
Seizure of Illegal Stocks:
DCA officials discovered that the company had manufactured and sold certain drug products under a fraudulent license.
Stocks including 800 Kgs of Activated Charcoal 250 mg and Simethicone 80 mg Pellets, were seized by authorities. The total value of the material is Rs. 23.93 lakh.
Warning Issued by DCA:
DCA has issued a stern warning to all pharmaceutical manufacturers and stakeholders against any malpractice.
V.B. Kamalasan Reddy, Director General of DCA, emphasized the gravity of forging drug licenses, highlighting the severe consequences and threats posed to public health and safety.
āIt is imperative to emphasize that the manufacturing and sale of pharmaceutical products under forged licenses pose a significant threat to public health and safety. All manufacturers shall comply strictly with regulatory requirements and maintain the highest standards of ethical conduct," said Kamalasan Reddy.
