Special court to rein in criminal gangs
The special court was convened in view of recurring violent clashes involving rival groups, including members linked to Deendar Anjuman from Asifnagar. Authorities focused their action on trouble-prone areas under the South, South-East and South-West Zones of Hyderabad.
Murder cases and retaliatory attacks among gangs
Police placed detailed confidential dossiers before the court, revealing the gangs’ involvement in grave offences such as murders and attempts to murder.
The crime records showed that many of these incidents stemmed from long-standing enmity and revenge attacks between rival factions, severely disturbing public order.
Preventive action under BNSS

Security bonds executed
All the respondents were made to execute security bonds as a condition of the preventive order. Police officials stated that the purpose of the move is to deter the gangs from further violence and criminal activities.
Zero tolerance for breach of peace
Police issued a stern warning that any violation during the bond period will result in immediate forfeiture of the bond and prosecution under relevant provisions of law, besides stricter surveillance on the accused.
Police stress on public safety
Officials said the preventive exercise reflects the department’s commitment to nipping gang wars in the bud and ensuring safety in vulnerable localities. Regular monitoring and surprise checks will continue to prevent a resurgence of criminal rivalries.
