Hyderabad shocker: Auto-rickshaw driver kills wife, daughter; later ends his life
Tension escalated in the couple who had regular fights leading to him killing his wife and minor daughter

Hyderabad: A man brutally murdered his wife and young daughter before taking his own life in Secunderabad's Bowenpally area late Saturday night.
Police immediately rushed to the spot and launched the investigation. According to Bowenpally police, Ganesh (34), an auto driver, lived in the Arya Samaj neighborhood of Bowenpally with his wife Swapna and their daughters for the past three years.
Ganesh and Swapna have had bouts of altercations. On Saturday night, tension escalated and Ganesh strangled Swapna and their 10-months-old daughter Nakshatra.
After committing the murders, Ganesh called `Dial 100' and informed the police that he had killed his wife and daughter and was going to end his life. Ganesh later died by suicide. When police arrived at Ganesh's house, they found Swapna and Nakshatra dead.
A pall of gloom has descended in the area as the coupleās two other daughters face uncertain future.
Police have registered a case and launched a thorough investigation to know the exact circumstances and motives behind this tragic event.
