Hyderabad: Railway Protection Force and All India Pasmanda Muslim Mahaaz (AIPMM), Telangana president Adnan Qamar rescued a 14-year-old victim of domestic violence from being exploited abroad train.
The event unfolded on July 30 when the girl, escaping an abusive home environment in Delhi, boarded a train alone. Her distress did not go unnoticed, however. Some suspicious people aboard the train began stalking her, posing a threat to her safety.
Adnan Qamar, along with other AIPMM delegates returning from Delhi, observed the suspicious behavior of the individuals around the girl. Recognizing the potential danger, Qamar approached the girl, who confided in him about the abuse she faced at home from her alcoholic father, who inflicted harm on both her and her mother.
Qamar promptly alerted the RPF, leading to a swift response. With assistance from Shoeb Ahmed Siddiqi, the General Secretary of AIPMM, the RPF was able to track down the girlās address in Delhi. The authorities then ensured her safety and prevented any further threat from the suspected exploiters.
The girl was subsequently handed over to the Child Protection Committee and Ramagundan Police, who will provide her with necessary support and shelter.
