Hyderabad: Taj Deccan chef attacks kitchen steward with knife; flees

Hyderabad: A chef attacked a kitchen steward with a knife at Hotel Taj Deccan in Banjara Hills.
The incident took place on April 22 and the police were informed the next day.
According to Panjagutta police, the victim Saroj Kumar Paswan was working in the kitchen section of Taj Deccan when his colleague E Deepak, took pictures of him and posted them in the WhatsApp group.
When Saroj requested Deepak to delete the photo, he refused and used foul language against him. Deepak then caught hold of Saroj's shirt collar and attacked him with a knife that he was using for cutting vegetables.
Saroj started screaming in pain and fell unconscious. Deepak fled from the spot, and Saroj's colleagues took him to Yashoda Hospital, Somajiguda. Police have registered a case against Deepak under Section 307 of the Indian Penal Code.
