Hyderabad: Unlicensed ‘Krish Security Force’ booked under BNS, PSARA Act

Hyderabad: In a joint operation, the Intelligence Department and Kachiguda Police conducted inspections at the office of Krish Security Force (Fire Fighting Vigilance) operating from Tilak Nagar in Hyderabad, uncovering serious violations of statutory norms.
The agency was found to be functioning without a valid license under the Private Security Agencies Regulation Act (PSARA), prompting authorities to initiate legal action.
Agency operating without mandatory license
According to officials, the agency had been running its operations without obtaining the mandatory PSARA license from the State Controlling Authority. The violation came to light during the inspection carried out by the Intelligence Department along with local police.
FIR registered under BNS and PSARA Act
An FIR (No. 121/2026) has been registered against the agency owner under Section 223(a) of the Bharatiya Nyaya Sanhita (BNS) and Section 20 of the PSARA Act, 2005, said Additional Director General of Police (Intelligence) Vijay Kumar.
Strict warning to unauthorised agencies
Issuing a stern warning, ADGP Vijay Kumar stated that stringent action will be taken against all private security agencies operating without government approval in the state. He emphasized that obtaining a PSARA license is mandatory for all such agencies.

Call for immediate compliance
Authorities have urged all unlicensed agency owners and directors to immediately apply for licenses through the official portal (www.psara.gov.in). Failure to comply will invite strict legal action, officials warned.
