Hyderabad: Wife of RMP murdered at Yousafguda; case registered
The police are examining CCTV footage

Hyderabad: The wife of a Registered Medical Practitioner (RMP) was murdered at her home in Yousafguda on September 30, Monday evening.
Identified as Sudha Rani (44), her throat was slit by a sharp weapon.
According to Jubilee Hills police, Lakshminarayana, an RMP Doctor, resides with his family in Navodaya Colony, Yousafguda. On the evening of the incident, Lakshminarayana was at his clinic in Yellareddyguda, while their two children were at tuition.
Upon returning home, the children found their mother lying in a pool of blood and immediately informed their father. Lakshminarayana rushed home and reported the incident to the police.
Jubilee Hills ACP Venkatagiri, Inspector Venkateswara Reddy, and forensic experts arrived quickly. Police confirmed that Sudha Rani had been dead by the time they reached.
Police have registered a case, and an investigation is underway. While the motive for the murder is not yet known, the police are examining CCTV footage and collecting details from the children.
"Complete details will be known soon after the investigation," said the police.
