Hyderabad: Woman chains, tortures husband for property at Ambedkar Nagar; case registered

Hyderabad: A woman allegedly chained and tortured her 50-year-old husband for property at Ambedkar Nagar in Ghatkesar.
Inspector Saidulu said Bharatamma along with her two sons and two daughters chained and tortured her husband Patti Narasimha over a property dispute.
The conflict arose from constructing a house on land registered in the wife's name. Narasimha purportedly intended to sell another property in his name to settle debts incurred during construction. However, disagreements ensued and Narasimha left the house a year ago without informing anyone.
On April 30, Bharatamma learned that her husband resides in Padamati Somaram village of Yadadri district. She along with her sons forcibly brought Narasimha back home and allegedly tortured him in a bid to transfer the property into her name.
A local resident captured the distressing scene on his cellphone. He later informed local leader Mahesh. Later police intervened and freed Narasimha.
A case has been registered against Bharatamma and her sons.
