Ibrahimpatnam police nab drug peddler, seize 1.12 kg hash oil
A case has been registered against him under the NDPS Act. Meanwhile, another accused, Sidari Balaiah, is absconding.

The police seized 10 bottles of hashish oil (1.12 kgs) and a mobile phone ā all worth Rs. 3.40 lakhs ā from M. Akhil.
A case has been registered against him under the NDPS Act.
Meanwhile, another accused, Sidari Balaiah, is absconding.
Akhil is a resident of BN Reddy Nagar and is originally from Amangal village in the Nagarkurnool district. He met with an accident during the lockdown and was idle at home. According to the police, he made some bad friends and became addicted to ganja and hash oil. He came to know that there is a huge demand for hashish oil and he decided to purchase the same from the Vizag area and sell it to needy persons at a huge price.
Accordingly, he decided to procure hash oil from Sidari Balaiah of K Kodapalle in Vizag. Akhil purchased 1.12 kgs of hashish oil for Rs. 80,000 and brought the contraband to Hyderabad through an RTC bus.
On 19 June, the SOT, LB Nagar zone, along with the Ibrahimpatnam police jointly conducted a raid and apprehended Akhil near the Mangalpally crossroad near Bonguluru junction while he was trying to sell hashish oil.
