Video: How police chased down ATM robbers gang & recovered Rs 3L in Jagtial
Blue Colts police were alerted and they chased the vehicle of the gang. According to reports, the police van hit their vehicle and cash worth around Rs.3 lakh fell onto the road.

The incident occurred on the night of January 14.
Blue Colts police were alerted and they chased the vehicle of the gang. According to reports, the police van hit their vehicle and cash worth around Rs.3 lakh fell onto the road. This cash was recovered by the police but the robbers escaped.
The CCTV footage of the entire episode went viral on Twitter. In the footage, a man can be seen running out of an ATM with two suitcases. He rushes to a car where a few others are found waiting. They hurriedly put the bags inside the car and sped away. A police van immediately reaches the spot and chases the robbers' car. It rams into the robbers' car and some of the cash slips from the suitcase. In the video, some currency notes are seen strewn on the road.

Ch. Sindhu Sharma, Superintendent of Police, Jagtial congratulated the Korutla SI and Blue Colts staff for their swift action.
"The Korutla Blue Colts staff immediately responded to Dial 100 service. The police intercepted the car of the robbers who were fleeing with Rs.19,00,200 after last night's SBI ATM robbery," tweeted Jagtial SP.
However, an update regarding the gang being caught is awaited. NewsMeter contacted Inspector Jagtial but he did not respond to the call. The story would be updated once we get to hear from him.
