Amaravati: Kadapa police issued a lookout notice against Sajjala Bhargava Reddy, the son of senior YSRC leader Sajjala Ramakrishna Reddy, in an SC/ST atrocity case.

On November 8, an SC/ST atrocity case was registered following a complaint by Hari, a resident of Simhadripuram mandal in the Pulivendula Assembly segment of Kadapa district.

The case is related to the social media posts made by YSRC activists against TDP and Jana Sena leaders. Hari accused Bhargav Reddy, YSRC social media organiser Arjun Reddy and social activist Varra Ravindra Reddy of abusing him on social media based on his caste.

It is said that the YSRCP social media cell under Bhargav’s supervision has been making personal attacks against rival party leaders.

Recently, chief minister Nara Chandrababu Naidu and deputy chief minister Pawan Kalyan condemned the actions of the YSRCP social media wing and ordered strict action against those responsible.

While a few more cases are already registered against Sajjala Bhargava, the police have issued a lookout notice as there are chances for him to leave the country. Teams have been deployed to nab Bhargava Reddy.
