Hyderabad: The Keesara police along with the Malkajgiri zone team arrested eight persons who were running a land grabbing racket. According to the police, they identified plots that were under dispute and plots where the owner was dead. They registered the land by creating fake documents, including Aadhar card, legal heir certificates, and brought impersonators. Later, the properties were sold to others.

The arrested persons have been identified as Sayana Balaji Saikumar (43), Guduru Praveen (38), Vangeti Sanjeeva Reddy (49), Kappara Sai (30), Gandi Saikumar (31), Rudra Murali (39), Lingala Ravinder (53), and Tammala Naveen (37).




The group was arrested after they fraudulently tried to grab open house plots in Keesara mandal. The plots belonged to the complainant's late husband.

The accused persons created false documents in the name of the complainant and later, using the fake documents, they got the plots transferred in favour of a few group members by impersonation.

The police seized two cars, seven mobile phones, cash Rs. 20,000, non-judicial papers with stamps, and 19 non-judicial papers without stamps.
