Khammam: Set to be married next month, Mamata medical college student ends life

She was set to be married next month.
According to Inspector Nagaraju, Rachna Reddy hailed from the Ramachandrapuram HIG Colony and was pursuing her post-graduation at Mamata Medical College in Khammam. She was in her third year of internship at Bachupalli Mamata Hospital.
On Monday morning, Racahna set out from her home in her car. Reportedly, she took a route towards the Patancheru mandal and Muttangi outer ring road junction. It was during this journey that she took an unknown injection to her left hand while the car was in motion. Subsequently, she lost consciousness, and the car veered off the road, eventually coming to a halt after colliding with the outer railings near Kishtareddypeta of Ameenpur Mandal.
A passerby in another vehicle noticed the car and alerted the police. Rachana was shifted to Bachupally Mamata Hospital, where doctors tried to save her life. However, tragically, she died in the evening while undergoing treatment.
The circumstances surrounding Rachna's decision to take her own life remain unclear. Her family members were making preparations for her upcoming wedding, scheduled for March.
Rachna's father Prakash Reddy filed a complaint with the police. A case has been registered and an investigation has been launched.
