Hyderabad: Cyberabad police have arrested two more members of the inter-state gang involved in the daring robbery at Khazana Jewellers, Chanda Nagar, earlier this month.
With these arrests, police say they are closing in on the remaining absconding accused.
Arrests in Pune
The accused, Anish Kumar Singh and Prince Kumar Rajak, both natives of Bihar, were apprehended in a special operation at Pimpri-Chakan, Pune.
From their possession, police recovered a pistol and gold-coloured silver ornaments weighing 1,015 grams, suspected to be part of the stolen property.

The Robbery
On August 12, six masked men armed with weapons stormed into Khazana Jewellers at Chandanagar.
During the heist, they opened fire at Deputy Manager Satish Kumar, injuring him on his left knee, before fleeing with nearly 10 kg of silver ornaments, including gold-coated items.
The injured were shifted to the hospital, and a case was booked under the BNS and Arms Act.
Earlier arrests and recoveries
Police had earlier arrested some of the accused on August 16, 2025, and have been tracking the rest of the network across state lines.
Police teams identified seven persons involved in the offence. Two of them have been arrested so far. They have been identified as Aashish Kumar Singh (22), a native of Saran district, Bihar, and Deepak Kumar Sah (22), a native of Saran district, Bihar.
Aashish Singh was apprehended in Maharashtra, and based on his information, police tracked down and arrested Deepak Sah in Hyderabad.
Police recovered 900 grams of silver articles from the accused.
The Conspiracy
Investigations revealed that the Bihar-based gang had planned to loot gold and diamond jewellery shops across Hyderabad.
With Sah’s local support, they rented accommodation at Asbestos Colony, Jeedimetla, on July 31, procured two second-hand bikes, and conducted reconnaissance of potential targets in Chandanagar.
The robbery was executed at Khazana Jewellers soon after.
Search for remaining gang members
Cyberabad police said the investigation is continuing to trace and apprehend the remaining accused. Efforts are also underway to recover the rest of the stolen property, part of which has already been seized in the latest arrests.
