Vijayawada: A daily wage laborer was locked up and gang raped by four men for three days in Penamaluru of Krishna district.
Preliminary investigation reveals the woman was taken from Vijayawada to Penamaluru on the pretext of work at Sulabh Complex. She was locked up, made to consume alcohol, and raped for three days. The woman has also been tortured with cigarette butts.
She is currently being treated at Vijayawada Government hospital. Police have nabbed two accused, and are in search of another two.
A case has been registered, and an investigation is on. More details are awaited.
