Kushaiguda police nab 2 bike thieves; seize 20 motorcycles worth Rs. 12L

The police said since 2007, Jaikishan was involved in 18 snatching cases, eight bike theft cases, and two thefts under the Arms Act under various police stations in Hyderabad and Cyberabad. He was convicted in some of the cases.

Kushaiguda police nab 2 bike thieves; seize 20 motorcycles worth Rs. 12L

Hyderabad: Two automobile thieves were arrested by the Kushaiguda police and the CCS Malkajgiri team on 30 June at the Chikripuram crossroad. Twenty motorcycles worth Rs. 12 lakhs were seized from their possession.

The two have been identified as Jaikishan and Vidya Sagar.

The police said since 2007, Jaikishan was involved in 18 snatching cases, eight bike theft cases, and two thefts under the Arms Act under various police stations in Hyderabad and Cyberabad. He was convicted in some of the cases.

He used to steal motorcycles from parking lots while Vidya Sagar used to sell the stolen motorcycles. Jaikishan used to scout the parking lots of Metro stations, business establishments, bars, and financial establishments looking for motorcycles to steal, the police said.

The 20 stolen bikes recovered include five Honda Shine, four Hero Honda Passion, three Hero Honda Splender, two Bajaj Pulsar, two Honda Activa, one TVS Apache, one Hero Glamour, one Bajaj Vikranth, and one Yamaha Fascino.
