Man gets 5 years jail for rape attempt on minor
On Friday, a POCSO court in Nalgonda sentenced a man to five years of jail for attempting to rape a 13-year-old girl. Shaik Dada Saheb, 28, a painter by profession, was convicted of the crime based on a complaint lodged by a 50-year-old woman on behalf of the girl.

Hyderabad: On Friday, a POCSO court in Nalgonda sentenced a man to five years of jail for attempting to rape a 13-year-old girl. Shaik Dada Saheb, 28, a painter by profession, was convicted of the crime based on a complaint lodged by a 50-year-old woman on behalf of the girl.
As per the police, the incident happened on 2 January 2017 at the girl's school. Shaik Dada was doing some painting work at the school when he attempted to rape the girl. The girl managed to free herself and run away.
Basing on the complaint, a case was registered at the Addagudur PS and the case was brought to court eventually.
