Hyderabad: A man killed his wife with an iron rod on a Hyderabad road even as people around them watched the horrific crime under the Lungar House police station limits in Hyderabad.
According to Lunger House police station inspector K. Srinivas, Mohammad Yousuf killed his wife Kareena Begum by the roadside in Asham Nagar while everyone watched. The couple had been married for seven years and had three children. Due to some conflict between them, the two separated almost a year ago.
On Friday morning, Kareena Begum, a teacher at a private school, was on her way to school when Yousuf attacked her with an iron rod and killed her. The locals caught him and handed him over to the police. Kareena died on the spot. The cops took her body to Osmania Hospital. The forensic team arrived to collect evidence. Inspector Srinivas said a case has been registered and an investigation is underway.
