Mancherial municipal commissioner’s wife dies by suicide
Police are investigating the case. The police are yet to ascertain the reason for her suicide.

Hyderabad: Mancherial municipal commissioner N. Balakrishna’s wife Jyoti died by suicide at her residence in Aditya Enclave Colony. The incident came to light when she did not respond to the neighbors. They alerted Balakrishna who rushed home after which the police were called in.
The couple has a son and a daughter.
Upon receiving information, Mancherial assistant commissioner of police B. Tirupathi Reddy and CI Narayana reached the spot. They are investigating the case. The police are yet to ascertain the reason for her suicide.
Mr. Balakrishna, who is from Khammam district, earlier worked in the police department. After that, he got his first posting as municipal commissioner in the Nirmal district. He was then promoted in Mancherial as Grade I commissioner.
