Man's severed head found in Nalgonda's Mettu Mahankali temple

Hyderabad: In a shocking incident, a severed head of a man was found at the feet of Goddess Mahankali's idol at Mettu Mahankali temple in Gollapalli village in Nalgonda district, Telangana, on Monday.

Locals who found the head speculated that it could be a case of human sacrifice. The police suspect that the victim, who is yet to be identified, could have been murdered elsewhere and his head placed at the feet of the goddess to mislead the investigators.
