Meerpet police arrest 27YO man for murder of woman
Naik took the woman to his room in Sri Vidya Township in Lokayuktha Colony, Badangpet. He paid her the amount they had agreed upon. At around 4 a.m, while he was sleeping, she tried to steal Rs. 5,000 from his purse and leave the place. However, Naik saw her and asked her to return the money. There was an altercation and Naik choked her to death. The woman died on the spot. Naik then threw her body in a nearby open plot and left the scene.

Hyderabad: The Meerpet police on Saturday arrested a 27-year-old man for the murder of a woman.
The man has been identified as Jarpula Manja Naik.
The victim is a 42-year-old woman, a resident of Yakuthpura in Charminar, Hyderabad. On the night of 24 April, she was waiting at IS Sadan in Santhosh Nagar to return home when Naik approached her and introduced himself. He asked her for a sexual favour and she accepted his proposal for an amount of Rs. 1,000.

The Meerpet police started an investigation and checked CCTV footage. They identified Naik and arrested him.
