Hyderabad: The Meerpet police nabbed a notorious automobile thief at Teachers Colony in Hasthinapuram here on 20 February and recovered stolen properties – two tractors and a tanker – worth Rs. 12 lakh.
Pachampally Venkatesh (47) was produced before the court on Tuesday.
Earlier, Venkatesh had been arrested by the Dundigal police for stealing a lorry.
According to the police, he used to steal parked tractors from colonies and escape.
