Hyderabad: The Meerpet police arrested six ganja peddlers and seized 190 kg of ganja from them on Monday. In 2019, Krishna was arrested by the Kotananduru police in East Godavari while he was transporting ganja from Darakonda to Vishakhapatnam. He was sent to Rajamandri jail where he met Boda Hathi Ram who was arrested by the Yetapaka police in a ganja case. After they were released from prison, the two went into the illegal ganja business along with Nenavath Hari and Nenavath Ashok.

In February this year, Krishna, Hari, and Ashok sent Rs. 94,000 as advance to Boda Hathiram and Balu to purchase ganja from Badrachalam. Later, they hired a car and engaged two drivers – Ramavath Rohith and Ramavath Kiran. The two left for Bhadrachalam and once they reached there, Balu and Boda Hathiram loaded 64 packets of ganja. They returned to Hyderabad with the ganja and parked the vehicle at Nenavath Krishna's house where it stayed till Monday.
