Locals noticed the body on Friday evening and alerted the police. The deceased was identified as Mylapalli Chinna, 16, a resident of Bhajanakovila locality in Vizag city. Chinna, a school dropout, had been staying with his mother after his father separated from the family a decade ago.
As per the police, Chinna went out on September 21 evening with his friends but didn’t return home. His mother searched for him at various places but failed to find him. The locals said that the murder could be the result of a drunken brawl over money.

The murder might have taken place on September 21 night. She said a team has been deployed to ascertain the exact reasons for the murder and identify the accused. The police registered a case under Section 302 of IPC and the body was sent for post-mortem.
