Mumbai's drug peddler Tony who supplied to businessman, kids arrested in Hyderabad

The arrested persons have been identified as Chukwu Ogbonna David alias Tony (37), a Nigerian national, Niranjan Kumar Jain (39), Shashwat Jain (36), Yagyanand Agarwal (34), Dhandu Surya Sumanth Reddy (39), Bandi Bhargav (31), Venkat Chalasani (26), Thamminedi Sagar (33), Alghani Srikanth (45), and Godi Subba Rao (27).
Tony came to Mumbai in 2013 on a temporary Visa. Since then, he has been illegally staying in the country. Initially, he was exporting garments and wigs from African countries. In 2017 he met a Nigerian woman, Loveth Yusuf, and the two had a daughter. It should be mentioned that Tony had a wife and a daughter back home in Nigeria. In the meantime, he befriended African people living in Mira Bhayandar and Vasai Virararea in Mumbai.
Meanwhile, he came to know that some of the people were running a drug business in metropolitan cities and making good money. He decided to enter the drugs business and made contacts with drug consumers in Mumbai, Goa, and Hyderabad.
Tony established a network in India by engaging local agents. He purchased drugs from international drug peddler Star Boy and his agents transported them from Mumbai to Hyderabad and delivered them to customers. The money was transferred online to his agents' accounts. Tony never revealed himself to his agents or customers and used international numbers to communicate via WhatsApp and VOIP calls. Tony had around 20 customers in Hyderabad.
The commissioner's task force, north zone, apprehended Tony, and based on the information provided by him, they arrested nine drug consumers.
