Munna Bhai MBBS: Meerpet police arrest fake doctor running Sai Clinic at Meerpet X Road

Identified as Polkampally Sai Kumar, he was booked under sections 420, 465, 468, 471, 473 IPC and Sec 15(3) of Indian Medical Council Act-1956
On credible information, police raided Sai Clinic at Meerpet X Road and found that Polkampally Sai Kumar was not having any authentic degree or legal permission from any authority.
"His prescription slip mentioned his qualification as MBBS (Osm), MD (Gen & Med) and Reg. No. 70622. However, he doesn't possess any such degrees. He along with another person SK. Ahmed were treating patients by introducing themselves as doctors and collecting consultancy fee Rs. 150. On further inquiry, it was revealed that Saikumar has studied up to Intermediate. Thereafter he had taken Eamcet long term coaching in Kakatiya Academy, Narayanaguda. Later he worked in Srinivasa Hospital, Santhoshnagar as an Operation Theatre Assistant from the year 2006 to 2012. After assisting doctors, he opened Sai Clinic at Meerpet X Road," said Rachakonda police.

What is more baffling that he used to work at Jeevan Hospital, Karmanghat, Orange Hospital, and LB Nagar as a Medical Administrator.
"After opening his clinic, he appointed Dr. Subba Rao. Roa possessed a Bachelor of Ayurvedic Medicine and Surgery degree. In September-2019, Subba Rao passed away. After his death SK. Ahmed, (Ayurvedic Doctor), who is well acquainted with the Subba Rao used to attend the clinic and giving treatment to patients by introducing himself as an Ayurvedic Doctor," he said.
Further, the accused Saikumar was using doctor V. Subba Rao's name on the prescription slip, though he passed away in September-2019. "During the course of investigation, one stethoscope, one BP Checking machine, nine medial prescription books, one rubber stamp, some medicines, one Sai clinic signboard was seized," he said.
