Hyderabad: Police have booked six persons including the warden after two class X girl students died in SC Welfare Hostel in Bhuvanagiri.

Those booked include warden Sailaja, autorickshaw driver Anjaneyulu, hostel cooks Sujatha and Sulochana, physical education teacher Pratibha, and tuition teacher Bhuvaneshwari.

A case has been registered under sections of CrPC 174 in Bhuvanagiri police station limits.

According to the complainant Gadhe Nagaraju, he received a call on February 3 from the auto-driver that his daughter Gadhe Vaishnavi (15), and another student Kodi Bavya (15), have died in the hostel. Both of them were sent to Area Hospital in Bhongir.

Immediately he informed this matter to Kodi Krishna, who is the father of another female student. Both of them visited Area Hospital in Bhongir, where doctors declared Vaishnavi and Bavya dead.

However, the complainant said that he suspects warden Shailaja, auto driver Anjaneyulu, and other accused.

According to the complainant, Bhavya and Vaishnavi told their parents earlier that auto driver Anjaneyulu used to visit cook Sulochana daily. Parents alleged the suicide note was written by someone else, purposefully praising the warden, to divert the attention.

Parents pointed out that the handwriting didn't match either of the girl students.

The parents of both students along with several SC welfare and student organizations protested at the hostel demanding justice.
