Nalgonda: 40 nursing students en route to exam hall injured in road mishap

Hyderabad: More than 40 students of Pier Giorgio Frassati (PGF) College of Nursing were injured when a lorry collided with their bus near Thatikal flyover in Nakrekal in Nalgonda.

The students were en route to Nalgonda from Suryapet to write an exam.

According to SHO Nakrekal, at around 8:25 am, when the college bus carrying the students reached the Thatikal flyover, the driver took a U-turn.

A lorry hit the college bus from behind. Over 40 students on board the bus received minor injuries. All the students were immediately shifted to Suryapet hospital. Police said all of them are out of danger.

Meanwhile, the Nakrekal police have taken the lorry driver into custody.
