Hyderabad: A POCSO court in Nampally, Hyderabad, convicted Chinthala Manikya Rao for sexually assaulting a minor. Rao has been sentenced to 20 years of rigorous imprisonment.

According to the case details, the victim is a 15-year-old, who was staying with her grandmother. During holidays, she used to visit her father’s house. Chinthala Manikya Rao was a tenant in an adjacent house.

According to the prosecution, Rao had sexually assaulted the girl for four years, since she was in Class 4. He would lure her in and sexually abuse her. He would also take videos and photos of her bathing and upload them on social media.
