Narasaraopeta: Intelligence checks at coaching centre run by man behind Secunderabad Agnipath protest

Narsaraopeta: The Central Intelligence and IT departments jointly conducted checks at Sai Defence Academy, Narasaraopeta, in Palnadu district. The director of the academy, Avula Subba Rao, is suspected of being the main person behind the Secunderabad Railway station protests.
Subba Rao reportedly created WhatsApp groups and provoked students to protest against the Centre's Agnipath recruitment scheme. There were also viral photos of Subba Rao with the youth who took part in the Secunderabad protest.
During the checks, officials went through documents related to the academy and spoke to the staff. The academy was established 10 years ago and has branches in Hyderabad and other places. The Intelligence team investigated data related to how many persons have been recruited in the Army, fee structure, tax payments, and other details related to training job aspirants.
