Nigerian in Khairatabad held with cocaine, MDMA

Hyderabad: The officials of the Excise Department conducted a surprise raid on a house in MS Makhta in Khairatabad and found 153 grams of cocaine and 16 grams of MDMA. The resident of the house, a Nigerian by the name James Morrison (28) was arrested.

As per information from the police, Daddy Boy alias John and Mike from Bengaluru appointed James as his agent to sell drugs in the city. Daddy Boy and Mike would send the contraband from Bengaluru to James through their agents. James would then contact customers through calls or WhatsApp and meet them at Imax, Necklace Road, Somajiguda, Begumpet, and other surrounding areas. He used to sell a gram of cocaine for Rs 6,000 to Rs 8,000 and a gram of MDMA for Rs 5,000. The police also seized a phone and equipment needed to pack the contraband from James's house.

James was arrested in August 2020 with 6 grams of cocaine on him along with two other agents, Nelson Samuel Smith and Abdul Kareem Abdullah. He was released after his passport was seized by the police.
