No person is allowed nearer to the strong rooms: V C Sajjanar

"No person is allowed nearer to the strong rooms and on the counting day. Section 144 will be in force upto 1 kilometre radius around the counting centre" the police chief said.
A team led by Commissioner inspected the storage of ballot boxes at Sanathnagar DRCC centre on wednesday. Somajiguda, Ameerpet, Sanathnagar, Khairatabad wards ballot boxes have been stored in the strong rooms set up at GHMC Multi sports complex DRCC centre at Sanathnagar.
Cyberabad Commissioner instructed the TSSP and Law and Order Police to ensure safety and security of the strong rooms."Three-tier security arrangements have been made for the security of ballot boxes at strong rooms with TSSP, Civil and Patrolling teams.In the first-tier patrolling teams will guard, in the second-tier barricades are arranged and Cyberabad Law and Order and Civil Police guard them and in the third tier TSSP force will guard the strong rooms" the police chief said.
The commissioner has issued direction to the staff to ensure to note the details of the persons who enter the strong rooms. The situation will be monitored through CCTVs surveillance and recording round the clock till December 4.
