Hyderabad: A 30-year-old man from Odisha was found dead at his home in Jeedimetla Apurupa colony on Monday. Balaramas, an employee at a local fan manufacturing company in the industrial area, took his own life.

According to the Jeedimetla police, Balaramas had been living in the colony for the past five months. He was in love with a young woman from his hometown and had been attempting to contact her for several days. However, she had not been responding to his calls, which had caused him great distress.

Balaramas had stopped going to work for 10 days and had become increasingly isolated at home, worrying his friends. Upon inquiring, he confided in them about his heartache over the young woman’s silence.

On Monday, when nobody was at home, Balaramas took the drastic step of ending his own life. His neighbours found his body in his room and immediately informed the police.

The Jeedimetla police have registered a case of unnatural death and are investigating the matter.
