Osmania General Hospital doctor booked for harassment
A criminal case has been booked against a doctor working at Osmania Hospital on charges over allegedly harassing a female doctor of NIMS

The victim is a resident Doctor at NIMS alleged that Dr Sidharth had been harassing her to marry him and also creating nuisance outside their hostel in a drunken condition.
The case has been registered at Panjagutta police station under section 354 (D)(follows a woman and contacts, or attempts to contact such woman to foster personal interaction repeatedly despite a clear indication of disinterest by the woman) and 506(Punishment for criminal intimidation) of IPC,
The victim in her complaint stated that she had known Dr Sidharth for two years through Facebook. As he was a doctor and there were many common friends she accepted his friend request on facebook. Later when he proposed to her for marriage, she rejected, but they continued to be friends.
She also alleged that when the victim started getting marriage proposals, unidentified persons have sent inappropriate messages to the prospective groom.
"Sidharth initially denied his role in it, but later agreed that he and his friends were behind the messages. Since then, he has been continuously stalking and harassing the victim through calls and messages. He even made his sister call the victim. Though his family is aware of his situation, they are forcing the victim to marry him, blaming her as the reason for his present condition," said the complainant.
A few days ago, Sidharth barged into her room late at night and confined her inside. Later during midnight, he created a nuisance outside the hostel in a drunken condition.
Worried with this constant harassment, and feeling threatened to continue her duties, the victim approached the police.
