Paramour murders village volunteer in Vemuru Mandal; flees
She tried to run away but he chased her and attacked her again till she died

Bapatla: A 29-year-old village volunteer was brutally killed in Vemuru Mandal, Bapatla District in Andhra Pradesh. The deceased has been identified as D Sarada, who works as a volunteer in the village. She was married in 2008.
Chunduru CI Kalyan Raj said Sarada was having an "illicit" relationship with M Padma Rao of the same village for the last four years. Six months ago, Padma Rao hit her after suspecting her of having a relationship with someone else. She complained to Mahila Police under Vemuru Police station limits. Since then, she has been staying away from him. On Sunday, when Sarada was cleaning the premises outside the house, Padma Rao attacked her with a knife. She tried to run away but he chased her and attacked her again till she died.
Vemuru police visited the spot and registered a case. Police have launched a manhunt to nab the accused.
According to the deceased's mother, after Sarada's "illicit" relationship with Padma Rao, her husband stayed away from her.
