Hyderabad: The sleuths of the special operations team, LB Nagar Zone, Rachakonda, busted a prostitution racket in Nagole on Monday. They apprehended two persons, including a customer, and rescued two victims from Karnataka and Mumbai.

The arrested persons have been identified as Balapally Vara Laxmi (30) of Vijayawada who was the organizer, and 21-year-old Bakki Krishna Pranav, a student from Hanumakonda in Warangal district. They were booked under PITA Act. The victims will be sent to a rescue home as per the directions of the court.

The police seized Rs. 1,200 cash and four mobile phones during the raid.

The main organizer, Gongeti Venkata Swami (45) of West Godavari in Andhra Pradesh, is absconding.
