Promising Telugu actor Sudheer Varma ends life

Police said the 34-year-old actor was admitted to a private hospital after he made a suicide attempt. The actor lost his final breath on Monday.

He played a key role in `Second Hand’ and `Kundanapu Bomma’. The actor was also seen in the web series `Shootout at Alleru’. The incident came to light after his co-star Sudhakar Komakula announced it on social media.

City police said Sudheer’s home is located at Tenneti Nagar in Vizag. Police are yet to ascertain the reasons for the suicide. However, personal reasons seemed to be the cause for the extreme step. The funeral of the actor was conducted on Monday in Vizag city.

“Such a lovely and warm guy’ It was great knowing you and working with you brother! Can’t digest the fact that you are no more! Om Shanti!” Sudhakar Komakula, who acted with Sudheer in Kundanapu Bomma, wrote on social media.

DCP Zone- II K Ananda Reddy said the actor slipped into depression due to personal reasons. “We met a few family members of the deceased, inquiry is underway into the incident, and will decide whether to register a case or not as the body was created without any post-mortem process,” Ananda Reddy added.
