Hyderabad: The Rachakonda police, on 24 December, arrested a cyber stalker for harassing a married woman by uploading her phone number on a dating site.
Gaddam Ruby Kiran (38) is a resident of Bandlaguda in Nagole. The married woman is his neighbour. The two had some differences over some petty issue and Kiran, seeking revenge against her, created a fake email ID and uploaded the woman's phone number and personal details with obscene comments on Locanto, a dating website. He projected the victim as a sex worker. After this, the woman started receiving several messages on WhatsApp.
During the course of the investigation, the police collected technical evidence which led to the arrest of the accused on Thursday. He was produced before the court for judicial custody.
