Rachakonda cops recover gold, silver worth Rs 26 L from 2 burglars
By Newsmeter Network Published on 23 Feb 2021 12:00 PM GMTHyderabad: The sleuths of CCS, Malkajgiri along with Nacharam Police of Rachakonda Police Commissionerate on Tuesday apprehended two persons, Mohd Sabdar and Mohd Ayub, at Bahadurpura, Hyderabad, moving under suspicious circumstances. Upon questioning, the two confessed about three house burglaries they have done. The police recovered gold ornaments worth 42 tulas, silver ornaments worth 70 tulas, Rs 36,000 in cash, and property documents worth Rs 26 lakhs from them.
It all started with a complaint from a woman in Habsiguda, Nacharam who told the police that when she returned home on December 15 she found the main door broken and all her belongings on the floor. She found her jewelry and other valuables stolen from her house. She requested the police to take necessary action against the offenders. Acting on her complaint, the police managed to nab the duo who had confessed to the burglary.
The police said that the two would recce houses in their Maruti SX4 car and broke into locked houses with iron rods to steal the valuables.
