Rachakonda police arrest two for stealing transformer coils
According to the Rachakonda police, the four formed a gang to damage transformers and steal from them and a total of 196 transformers have been targeted by them so far

The two have been identified as Nandulal Rajbar (35) and Abhimanyu Rajbar (29). Their associates involved in the crime Sahadev (30) and Rahul Rajbar (26), are absconding.
The police said that Nandulal and Abhimanyu were found in a Tata Indica car under suspicious circumstances at Lemur X Road under the Kandukur police station limits and were arrested after probing further. According to the Rachakonda police, the four formed a gang to damage transformers and steal from them and a total of 196 transformers have been targeted by them so far.
Before the day of offence, the gang used to conduct recce at the chosen places by riding through the place on motorbikes. Later, they would go there after 11 pm and defuse the transformers with sticks and ropes and then steal the copper coils and other useful materials from it. They would then take the stolen material and hide it in isolated places near the place of offence. The next day, they would come there, collect the material, sell it and share the money among them.
Nandulal Rajbar is said to have committed 32 property offences. Apart from transformer coils, the police seized a Tata Indica car, three Pulsar bikes, one Karizma bike and Rs 18,60,000 in cash from them. The entire property seized is said to be worth Rs 25,06,000.
