Hyderabad: The LB Nagar zone special operations team (SOT) along with the Kushaiguda police busted an interstate drug syndicate and arrested an interstate drug peddler at Radhika crossroads on 1 July. About two months ago, Patel went to Pippad in Rajasthan and procured opium for Rs. 1.30 lakhs per kg from Giridhar. He returned to the city on Friday and kept the opium in his house. Based on a tip-off, the police conducted a raid and arrested him.
