Saidabad police rescue abducted boy within 48 hours of complaint

Hyderabad: The Saidabad police solved the kidnapping case of a five-year-old boy within 48 hours of the complaint being registered and arrested two persons.

The boy was kidnapped on 18 February near Sankeshwar Bazar in Saidabad.

According to the Saidabad Police, on 18 February, Pardha Lakshmi was begging at Sankeshwar Bazar near Shivalayam Temple along with her son Ram Charan. At around noon, the main accused, Pandu, a ragpicker, kidnapped the boy. His mother, Lakshmi, lodged a complaint on 20 February at the Saidabad police station.

The accused are Kadamanchi Pandu (28), a ragpicker, and Ubidi Narsimha (34), a scrap dealer. Both are from Nalgonda.

Four teams were formed to investigate the kidnapping and CCTV cameras from Champapet to Vanasthalipuram were checked to identify the accused. After an investigation, the police teams could trace Pandu to the Vanasthalipuram area.
