Saroornagar: Dumped by girlfriend, police aspirant ends life

Hyderabad: A 26-year-old man ended his life after his girlfriend walked out of the relationship. Identified as K Praveen Kumar, he was in a relationship with her for four years. Praveen was found dead in his room at Saroornagar under the Rachakonda commissionerate on Sunday.
Police found a note believed to be written by Praveen and a selfie video on his mobile phone. Reports said in recent months, the girl had been avoiding him. She had become closer to another person.
Upon confronting the girl about her promise to marry him, the boy was shocked by her response. Later the boy recorded a video on his mobile phone and sent it to his loved ones. They immediately rushed to his room where they found him dead.
It was discovered that Praveen wanted to join the police force. He had passed the preliminary written exam and physical test for the ongoing constable recruitment process. Sub-Inspector P. Madhava Rao of Saroor Nagar stated that a case has been registered based on a complaint from Praveen's family. "The investigation is going on," he added.
