Shock after daughter, husband slit throat of parents over property dispute in Krishna district
Andhra Pradesh has slipped into a shock after an 18-year-old-girl and her husband allegedly slit the throat of her aged parents over a property dispute at Bandipalem area under Jaggayyapeta police station limits on Tuesday night.

Vijayawada: Andhra Pradesh has slipped into a shock after an 18-year-old-girl and her husband allegedly slit the throat of her aged parents over a property dispute at Bandipalem area under Jaggayyapeta police station limits on Tuesday night.
The deceased have been identified as Muttaiah, 65, and his wife Sugunamma, 60. Both were found in a pool of blood at their home with their slits opened.
Police said the girl married her boyfriend N Babu Rao, a village volunteer, some four months ago. However, Babu Rao and his wife have been picking up fights with Muttaiah and Sugunamma over the property issue. Babu Rao had been demanded Rs one lakh from Muttaiah.
When Muttaiah and his wife refused to pay the money, Babu Rao and his wife developed a grudge against them.
On Tuesday night, the couple went to their house where Babu Rao slit the throat of Muttaiah and Sugunamma with a sharp-edged weapon.
On Wednesday morning, locals found the bodies of the couple lying in a pool of blood.
Police along with the clues team reached the spot and retrieved the bodies. The accused couple fled from the spot. Police have formed a special team to nab the accused.
