Six boys drown in Godavari; team deployed to retrieve bodies
Hyderabad: In a heartbreaking incident, six boys drowned in the Godavari River near the Medigadda Barrage. Two others who were with them managed to survive the mishap.
Expressing deep shock over the tragic loss of young lives, IT and Industries Minister Duddilla Sridhar Babu instructed district authorities to launch large-scale search and rescue operations immediately. He also directed senior officials from the Revenue and Police Departments to rush to the spot and monitor the situation closely.

The deceased include four boys from Ambatipalli village and two from Korlapenta village. The victims have been identified as:
Madhu Sudhan (18) and P. Shiva Manoj (15), sons of Patti Venkataswamy from Ambatipalli
Rakshit (13), son of Thogari Raju from Ambatipalli
Karnala Sagar (16), son of Karnala Sammayya from Ambatipalli
Pandu (18) and Rahul (19) from Korlakonda village
All the boys reportedly went for a swim in the river and tragically lost their lives.
