Hyderabad: The Ghatkesar police on Tuesday arrested three persons, including a female software employee, who were in possession of drugs like methamphetamine, MDMA, LSD, and ganja.
On 14 December, the police team led by inspector N. Chandra Babu and additional inspector E. Jangaiah of Rachakonda commissionerate arrested the three at the ORR underbridge in Ghatkesar. They have been identified as Puli Ramya (32), a software employee; Mohammed Zameer Siddique (28); and Koukuntla Akhil (31).
The police seized 6.1 grams of Methamphetamine, 1.6 gms MDMA, 0.4 gms LSD (Chip), and 1.3 gms of ganja from them.
The three met online on the app Club House where they discussed drugs. They also met at Prism pub in Gachibowli. Akhil used to frequently visit Goa where he purchased drugs and also gave them to Ramya and Siddique.
On 9 December, Akhil sent the other two to Goa to purchase drugs for the New Year celebrations. He paid them Rs. 23,600 for the same. The two bought Methamphetamine, MDMA, LSD, and ganja and returned to Hyderabad on 13 December. They met Akhil at Ghatkesar to hand over the drugs.
Based on credible information, the Ghatkesarpolice arrested the three persons.
