Hyderabad: An Army training exercise in Narsingi went wrong when a bullet accidentally veered off course and hit a house, injuring a woman inside.

This marked the second such incident in the last two weeks. The latest mishap occurred in Gandhamguda, under the jurisdiction of Narsingi police station.

The incident occurred when Army personnel were conducting live-fire exercises at a nearby firing range. The victim, who was struck in the leg, collapsed on the spot and was immediately rushed to a local hospital, where she received treatment for her injuries.

The police quickly arrived at the scene after being informed of the incident and launched an investigation. Preliminary findings suggest that the bullet was discharged during a training exercise at the Army firing range adjacent to the residential area.

This incident followed a similar occurrence less than two weeks ago when another stray bullet from the Army range hit an apartment in Bairagiguda, Narsingi. In that case, the bullet lodged into the fifth floor of the building, though fortunately, no injuries were reported.
