Teacher killed in knife attack in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar

Hyderabad: A teacher working at a private school was brutally murdered at Hanuma Hostel under the jurisdiction of the Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar Police Station.
The victim, Venkataramana (28), was killed in a knife attack.
Ganesh, who worked as a barber in a hair salon, and Venkataramana, lived in Hanuma Hostel, sharing a room in Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar. Ganesh drank alcohol every day, which disturbed Venkataramanaās sleep. An altercation occurred and Ganesh attacked Venkataramana with a knife he took from the hair salon. Venkataramana died on the spot in a pool of blood.
Sanjeeva Reddy Nagar police arrived at the spot and registered a case for investigation. The deceased, Venkataramana, was identified as a resident of Alamuru village in the Kurnool district. A romantic relationship is suspected to be the motive for the murder.
