Telangana CID officer booked for sexual harassment in Chaitanyapuri
Complainant an employee in TSSPDCL alleged that CID SP Kishan Sing has been harassing her with constant messages, obscene videos and photos.

Hyderabad: A 48-year-old woman filed a harassment case against Telangana Crime Investigation Department (CID) SP Kishan Singh. The woman is a an employee at the Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana (TSSPDCL).
In her complaint to the Chaitanyapuri police, the woman alleged that she met Kishan Singh at Saroor Nagar stadium when she was preparing for a 2020-2021 national-level sports competition. Kishan told her that he is conducting special coaching classes that would help with the preparation. Since he was a senior police officer, she agreed to join the classes and also shared her phone number with him.
“Since then, he has been harassing me with me constant messages, obscene videos and photos. He also constantly used to ask me to send my photos,” said the complainant. On several occasions, the complainant warned Kishan to stop harassing her and mend his ways but he did not listen.
Chaitanyapuri police said a case has been registered against Kishan Singh under Section 354A (sexual harassment) of the IPC and they have started an investigation into the allegations.
